Bring your old photos or your digital camera to this PhotoShop
basics class. We will show you how to get photos out of a digital
camera or from hard to digital copy. You'll walk away with a CD

Banking: How does it work? Is it for me?: October 7,

Sit back and watch an example of online banking in progress. This
lecture class will cover checking and savings account basics,
payee setup, paying bills online, funds transfer, and exporting
to Microsoft Excel. We will discuss security/privacy issues. Class

October 14, 2004, 9:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m. This is perhaps
the most important class offered this year. This class is not
only for computer illiterate parents who worry about their children's
surfing habits, but for all parents of computer users. We will
discuss known problem sites, identity theft, dangers of online
gaming, and Internet pornography. We will discuss how to identify
your child's surfing habits as well as ways to protect your children
from online predators. Class size is not limited. Bring a friend.

- 12:30 p.m. Discover the computer’s hard drive organization.
Learn what virtual memory means. Discover what those file extensions
mean. Learn how to scandisk, defrag, and reformat. Mostly learn
where stuff is stored on a computer and how to troubleshoot when
you run into common problems. Intermediate to Advanced Users.
Class size is limited to 4 people seeking assistance with machines
running Windows 98 or higher. Students are encouraged to bring
